2026-2027 Evaluations Info
Welcome to the 2026-2027 Registration with Brookline Youth Hockey!
- Registration: Secure your spot by providing contact info, confirming tryout intent, and submitting your tuition deposit.
- Team Placement: We do our very best to roster every player to a team. Evaluations are used for appropriate skill-level placement.
- Flexible Placement: If evaluations suggest Learn-to-Play or a Practice-Only role is a better fit, your deposit will be fully credited toward that program's tuition.
- Attendance Conflicts: If you cannot attend tryouts, please register anyway. We will use previous coach evaluations for placement and remain flexible for adjustments in the fall.
- New to BYH: New families with tryout conflicts should register now. We will contact you to arrange a separate evaluation.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: March 2nd. Online registration is required before taking the ice. All previous years' fees must be paid with no outstanding balances.

Goalies - New Partnership
New Partnership: Beyond our Sunday morning clinics at Warrior, BYH is partnering with Stop It Goaltending to provide elite training for all goalies. These sessions are fully covered by your tuition! More scheduling and information is coming soon.

Girls (U8, U10, U12)
Girls Games Only: All players should register and are rostered onto co-ed teams for their age group.
BYH offers this as a supplement alongside the co-ed teams at the U8, U10, and U12 levels.

Schedule & Travel
September through March: games are primarily held on weekends, with weeknight sessions scheduled only on rare occasions. Most competition takes place within the Greater Boston Area, with the majority of rinks conveniently located within a 20–45 minute drive of Brookline.
Practices
September through November: 1 Team Practice and 1 Professional Skills Session.
Post Thanksgiving: 2 Team Practices and 1 Professional Skills Session.
Practices are typically held at Warrior Ice Arena, Reilly Memorial Rink, Walter Brown Arena, and Jack Kirrane Rink at Larz Anderson
